Samsung Bang & Olufsen Serenata Mobile Phone
With a pretty poor performance and hefty price tag attached to the Bang & Olufsen Serene, Samsung and Bang & Olufsen have come together once again with the help of David Lewis and have developed a new and improved successor that carries a much smaller price tag.
The Samsung Bang and Olufsen Serenata, or Samsung Serenata for short, is in no doubt a fashion music phone and is safe to say that it is more about looks than functionality with a lacquered aluminium front that enhances the artistic design but having said that, its got a fairly impressive specification.
A Tri Band GSM handset with GPRS and HSDPA support, there's a 2.2 inch TFT touchscreen display and a somewhat large navigation wheel which is positioned at the top of the phone above the screen display.
With multiple functionality the navigation wheel controls incoming and outgoing calls, access to playlists and messaging.
The display of the Samsung Serenata offers a seperate lighting sequence depending on the mode active at the time with Blue for Phone Mode and Red for Music Mode.
The Music Player is both high tech and advanced and is accompanied by a built-in hi-fi stereo speaker system guarantying high quality sound, stereo bluetooth wireless technology and its own unique phone stand incorporated into the design of the phone so that the handset can be sat up on a desk or table top.
Playlists are managed with BeoPlayer software on the PC upon which they can then be directly transferred to your mobile using a straightforward USB connection.
The only thing that is left to be said about the Samsung Serenata is that its definitely not just a pretty face with cool branding.
