As with the Motorola W230, the W270 is also capable of being viewed in 7 different African languages as well as Hinglish, Bengali, Tamil, Telegu, Catalan, Basque and Galician, making this more than just a basic level entry clamshell.
Available in either Lustrous Silver or Dark Titanium Grey, the Motorola W270 will support 2GB extended memory and offers a 500 entry phonebook and SMS storage.
The external mono display, lets the user know of incoming messaging, missed calls and batttery life which offers 9 hours of talktime and 19 days standby.
Concentrating on music abilities rather than digital photography, the Motorola W270 is lacking in a camera but comes with a built-in MP3 Player and FM Radio which can be played via the internal loudspeaker or wired headset.
The Motorola W270 is a Dual Band GSM handset with GPRS support, wap browser and USB connectivity.
There is a lot to be said for basic handsets these days and Motorola seemed to have focused heavily recently on this end of the market, developing stylish handsets that carry small price tags yet with high quality key features.
