Motorola have already gone one step further than the Motorola RIZR Z8 with the new and improved Motorola RIZR Z10 version. The Motorola RIZR Z10, or Motorizr Z10 for short, features the same sliding design mechanism as the Z8 and as with the Z8 is a Symbian S60 based smartphone. Beating the Motorizr Z8 on weight having lost 12 grams, the Motorola RIZR Z10 is more powerful with far greater capabilities than that of its predecessor.
A Symbian slider with a 3.2 mega pixel primary camera, secondary camera for video calling, autofocus and xenon flash primary camera functions and full video record & playback, the Motorizr Z10 boasts high quality video at 30fps.
3G with HSDPA connection, there's the on board Music Player which supports MP3, AAC and AAC+ audio file formats, the important 3.5mm audio output jack and bluetooth wireless with A2DP Stereo support that only adds to the already powerful and pleasurable listening experience. As for memory capacitiy, there's 90MB built-in and microSD memory expansion, unlimited enteries in the phonebook and more or less unlimited historic call records. The handset itself features a new scratch resistant screen display measuring 2.2 inches and 240 x 320 pixels, with images displayed in 16m colours.
MiniUSB allows for fast and simple PC synchronisation, the web browser brings a whole array of online content to your handset and email access keeps you in touch with the office, friends and family when on the move. So although the spec of this phone is almost identical to that of the Z8, the Motorola RIZR Z10 has lost weight, added an extra 1.2 mega pixels to the camera, gained an audio output jack and introduced a scratch resistant display. Not band for minor improvements on an already highly capable device bursting at the seems with features.
