The I-Mate Ultimate 5150 is a sliding smartphone and is part of a new range by I-Mate aimed at the business end of the market.

An HSDPA enabled handset, the I-Mate Ultimate 5150 appears to have more or less everything that one would need to conduct their work from outside of the office.

Unlike most smartphones though, the IMate Ultimate 5150 doesn't sport a full Qwerty keyboard but instead a standard numerical keypad which takes away a lot of the speed and ease of texting that the more traditional smartphones offer.

Featuring a 2.8 inch touch screen with handwriting recognition, through which the majority of input will made, the I-Mate Ultimate 5150 runs Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional and is powered by a massive 520Mhz processor.

Connectivity options come of a plenty with WiFi, Bluetooth Wireless, EDGE, miniUSB, Infrared, GPRS and as previously mentioned HSDPA to ensure high speed data transfers.

Equipped with a web browser and email client, theres 128MB of onboard memory, but if that isn't enough then microSD expansion is readily available.
