I-Mate JAMA 101 Smartphone
I-Mate JAMA 101 Pocket PC Phone is an improved version of the I-Mate JAMA.
The IMate Jama never really made that much of an impact but I-Mate have made some serious enhancements, beefing up the spec and improving the design, so here is what the I-Mate Jama 101 can do and what they've equipped it with.
Retaining the 2.4 inch TFT Touchscreen with handwriting recognition and a 4-way navigational key, Imate have upgraded the Jama 101 from a Windows Mobile 5.0 to a Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional smartphone, bringing it right up to date.
Powered by a 300Mhz Samsung processor with 64MB of expandable memory to work with, the I-Mate Jama 101 additionally boasts the introduction of EDGE technology and Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP Stereo support.
The camera is still a 2 mega pixel but now has added autofocus and a built-in flash to boot.
Supporting Tri Band, the IMate Jama 101 has the traditional Windows Media Player 10 onboard and standard business tools that include Pocket Office, web browser, email, instant messaging, file manager, voice memo and built-in handsfree.
A much need overhaul looks to have done the trick with this smartphone.
