HTC TyTN II 2 / HTC P4550 Mobile Phone
A second generation TyTN, the HTC TyTN II (2), with the HTC Kaiser platform,aka HTC P4550, sees some huge enhancements on the desing of its predecessor.
The 2.0 mega pixel camera has been upgraded to 3.15 mega pixels with the welcomed inclusion of autofocus and retains the secondary camera for video calling.
Now running Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional, the HTC TyTN 2 is powdered by a 400Mhz processor, comes with 128MB of expandable memory instead of 64Mb and features a 2.8 inch touchscreen with handwriting recognition but more importantly TouchFlo technology for finger touch navigation and full control of 3D images, plus a slide-out Qwerty keyboard.
3G enabled with WiFi capabilities, the HTC TyTN II is a Quad Band GSM device with GPRS/HSDPA/EDGE/Bluetooth v2.0 and offers USB connectivity as a further option.
As with the HTC TyTN, the HTC TyTN ii has a WAP 2.0 XHTML browser, Pocket Office and complete messaging solutions to meet all your business needs.
But the most impressive improvement on the HTC TyTN II has to be the introduction of a buitl-in GPS Navigation system. Even the battery has been overhauled delivering a massive 6hrs of talktime and 400hrs standby, double the original standby time.
And with all this, they've still managed to slim down the handset by an extra 3mm.
Amongst the many changes, the HTC TyTN's MP3/AAC Player has been replaced with Windows Media Player 10.0 and we really can't find any down side to this device.
