HTC Omni Pocket PC Phone
Successor to the popular T-Mobile MDA IV, otherwise known as the HTC Universal and the first PDA to support WLAN, the HTC Omni follows a brand new marketing design of devices previously released by HTC with the introduction of this UMPC.
As with the HTC Universal, the HTC Omni is a 3G enabled Quad band GSM device with GPRS, EDGE and WiFi technology but with added HSDPA and UMTS support.
Running Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 Operating System and powered by a 400Mhz Samsung processor, the HTC Omni comes complete with a full Qwerty keyboard and 4inch touch screen with 800 x 480 resolution.
An ultra mobile PC with style and a laptop PC like design, the HTC Omni measures just 13mm in depth and the specification list is long and distinguished with features such as a 3.0 mega pixel camera, video recording, Cellular Radio, bluetooth stereo 2.0, GPS navigation system, standard 128Mb internal memory and 256Mb of flash memory plus microSD card expansion, TV/VGA out, dedicated secondary camera for video calling and the addition of an external secondary screen display for showing caller ID information.
The list just seems to go on and on, but with HTC only now breaking into this market, it's no surprise that they have gone all out to impress with the HTC Omni.
